Mrs. Linda Oberholtzer
Sixth Grade Math
I am starting my 21st year in the Glendale-River Hills School District. I started at Parkway as a paraprofessional in reading and math, and moved to Glen Hills as a math teacher, G & T teacher, and then a sixth grade teacher. I have been teaching all math classes for four years.
I received my BS In Education (Grades K-8) from the University of Illinois and started my teaching career as a third grade teacher in a small town in Illinois. My family and I moved often, and I have taught in St. Louis, Denver, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Kansas City. We moved to the Milwaukee area in 1991. I received my MS in curriculum development from National Louis University.
My husband, Bill, and I raised two daughters, Elizabeth and Rebecca. Elizabeth and her family live in Florida and Rebecca and her family live in Wisconsin. We also have two schnauzers, Rock and Chance. We spend our time visiting and babysitting our grandchildren - Allison (6) and William (18 months). We also enjoy traveling, and take several trips a year.
